i think credit cards and every other savings is a good help. we can save money in debit cards like for example the bank can keep track on what we can spend on but we all gotta have a spending limit or save are money their. but its also bad because credit cards that the banks let us use money more then we have saved up and then later we have to pay it back that can be a problem. some people wont be able to pay all the money or even have the money for it on time.

i believe that credit cards are a big issue , many people will get credits and would just continue to swipe and buy things, without realizing that they are putting them self in debt because they are not tracking how much money they are spending at a time. Having credit cards are a big responsibility and if you aint ready for it don't use credit cards. i am currently working at Mc Donald's and i do try to put money from my checks each time i get paid to put in my bank account for things i need in my future.

I hate credit cards flat out, no questions asked. If I'm able, I hope that I will never have to use one. And as far as savings go, I love to spend money, but I'm also really big on saving. What I do with my paycheck is put 2/3'rds of it in savings and I spend the rest. I'm saving up for things such as a car, college, a home, things like that. I'm fairly positive that my father and mother are not going to assist me financially, so I have to be extra careful about my savings. I have set goals and plans, and I hope tat I can see them through.

I think people should only use a credit card when they have to. Because if you get to used to using you card you are going to be in trouble after you have to pay the bill.

Saving is huge, and if people think that they have to spend their savings in order to make ends meet not only are things only going to get harder for them financially, but things will get even harder in the future when they try to retire. Saving is huge and really helps in the long run which is something people really need to start thinking about now before they have to pay the consequences later down the road of life.

I personally think that credit cards are for chumps. I don't plan on using a credit card anytime soon. They are just too risky and you never know what the credit union will do to your banking account. They can fraud you just to help them get more profit.

i think credit cards are a big issue cause people get them thinking its going to save them money but they go buy stuff they don't need and they go in debt and they have to try and get out of it but they still use there credit card so thats a big problem i think

i think credit cards are a problem it usually leads you in the hole and you get to lazy to pay them off for people who good for you. but instead investing into a bank and make a savings account is a whole lot better than a credit card by a long shot. plus you can take out the money at anytime you want to and pay as much you want to save\invest. a whole lot better than a credit card. would you agree?

One concern I have about what these young people are doing is that, how do they plan to make it in life if you don't have a decent amount of money? Their future will not be what they want it to be, if they are taking everything as a joke. Yes, I have worked but I am not currently working. Yes, I currently have a savings plan. I do have money currently saved.

i personally would never use a credit card ive never met someone that has had a credit card and not had a financial problem with it. having to take money out of retirement just to make ends meat sounds terrible, and i hope that through being smart and saving ill never have to do that.

It concerns me that the adults are only worrying about today and not there futures. You have to think of how things will affect you in the long run. While they're spend retirement money on credit card bills, they won't have credit cards or money when they retire. I have been working but i don't have much money saved. I never realized how important it was. After hearing, it makes me more concerned about my future.

you shouldn't use a credit card if not needed, if you have money at the time, use it because later on, the bill won't be good. they should get rid of credit cards in general.

Credit cards are a waste of time i believe. Savings accounts would be more reliable, Debit cards are a little better then credit cards but not by much in my opinion. What ever the case is they have spending limits which can harm you in the long run which means, Do not get them.

i think credit Cards are good if you know how to use them they need a class so people can understand how to use a credit card correctly, with out someone teaching you how to use one chances are your gonna put your self in deat. if you use a debt card you can only use the money you have so theres no deat

i think the biggest problem is people spending too much money on things they want more then things they need. and no i haven't saved any money or had a job before.

yaskacruz3 said...

I never really had a job but all i do babysit and i always try to save money but my parents always ask me for some money so i end up empty in my savings. The problem in life is that people that don't know how to spend there money wise is that they end up broke or bankrupt. I guess thats how life is.

I think that credit cards are not a good idea for some people because they take them for granted. Than when it comes time for them to pay the money back they cant and they go into debt. Young Adults are just living for today and buying there wants instead of their needs. This will effect their future because when they really need something they wont have any money to get it. Yes, I have worked but im not any more but I have money saved up for life after high school.

Ambra3 said...

I think that people need to stop spending their savings to meet ends meet. Savings is something you use for an emergency, I understand once or twice but not all the time. I have a job and try to put a majority of my paycheck in there, so that i'll have money for my car and all the bills i'll have to pay.

I think that credit cards are people's biggest problem because they can swipe them pretty much anywhere anymore and before they know it their balance is low. This can affect their future in the long run because they aren't trying to save up money. I currently work and I only spend money when I need to but I also have it easy because my family still buys most things for me.

Grey3 said...

I think that credit cards are good and also bad at the same time. Once they swipe it all the time they find out that there balance is all good and then you get bad credit and is in debt. Yes i do have a job right now. I do have a savings account in the bank that i put 20 dollars in each pay check. Its getting up there and im going to try not to get into it.

Credit cards are sometimes good but m,ostly bad because one false move and you may be in debt and hoinestly not even know it.. Some for some people it may be easier some people it may be challenging to have a credit card..

I think credit card are a really big issue in our economy today. People are doing to much spending and not enough of saving especially the younger generation now day, they don't think about the future, really not to many people plans their future while they are young. Also I think that credit cards are bad because their easy to get but the hard part is paying back all the money you owe the company, and most company's want their money paid by a due date. If your late then that causes debt.

Salas7 said...

I don't think credit cards are a big issue as long as you know how to use them . people just make them a big issue because they don't know how much to spend they swipe it and swipe it anywhere and everywhere and before you know it your in debt because you don't know how much you have spent and you weren't keeping track of your balance.

I think people should only use a credit card when they have to and not over use it like other do people do.If your not going to be responsible enough to use a credit card than dont get one at all.

Credit cards and debit cards are nice but they are not a good idea if you are thinking about saving. To know that you have so much money on that card or in the bank makes you want to spend it. Like you come across a good deal and you debate "should i get it or shouldn't i?" Most the time, people still get it. I know i have to put my money away so that when i go out i'm not tempted to buy more than i need. Best idea is to have a prepaid debate card.

- Credit cards are suppose to be for emergencies only. But people take advantage of them. So they CAN be a problem , they're not the problem. It's the people. In some cases people but their own self in debt by the choices they make. They think buying a bunch a stuff won't affect them in that moment , but wait til you get a bill from the credit card company.

I think maybe it should be harder to obtain credit cards, cause that means less people would have access to using one. credit cards are available to 18 year olds meaning at a very young (naive and dumb age) you have so much access to debt at a age where you tend to be very irresponsible with the freedom your given so i think credit cards should be harder to obtain so one cant have that easy of a time going into debt. Cause credit cards tend to get out of control so it would be very hard for one to save when you have an outstanding amount of debt to be paid off.

I think credit cards are a good thing, you just need to be smart and responsible with them. Bank accounts and debit cards are good too. They're all a big help

i think people should not use credit cards because they bring debt to people. i also think this because if you dont have the money to go buy it with cash then that means you dont need. i dont plan on using a credit card when i get older to purchase any thing just strictly cash

My family is against credit cards and always will be. Therefore i think they are a very bad idea, and cause a lot of people debt at such a young age. Yes, i have a job right now and i plan on saving my money for things i want rather than eventually getting it paid off with a ton of added interest that i obtained by using a credit card for my purchases.
