I think it would be cool if Amazon would make the move to make a physical store. It would be convenient if Amazon made a store because then people wouldn't have to wait 2 to 10 ays for the item they ordered they could just go to the store and pick it up. I think this would make their profit go up because like I said people could just go pick their item up and not have to wait a week or so.

I think so because it is already popular so people will already go/shop there, also because online sites don't usually post EVERYTHING they have in their store online, some stuff you would see only when you went in. I think it would boost their profits because it's also more convenient for the customer to just come in and pick up their items instead of waiting or paying more to have it shipped within 24hours.(then while they are there they will have other goods that will attract them and they will remember and come back to get it later/etc). So, Yes they should!
i dont think it would work out if amazon tried to move to a physical store because its not as simple as people being able to walk in and get what they wanted or ordered because 1 amazon store wouldn't be able to cary every single item on the amazon website.

i think that amazon should have a large store but keep their main interest online where they started because it would be convenient to have a store location but it would be a great inconvenience if you no longer had access to the online version

If Amazon had an actual store it would be easier for some people to buy stuff. They should keep their online store open though.
Online stores moving to actual stores could be beneficial depending on the store. If it's a small company, that has a main focus, like music or art supplies, it could be beneficial and profitable. However, something like Amazon, would not work because half of what they sell is used and is shipped across the country. I'm not going to drive to California to buy something through Amazon at a store when I can ship it through the online store.
I think that if a online store makes a move to exsist on the streets it would both help and hurt them. Many people passing by and living in the area of the store may discover that they like it, then also make online purchases. However, with the people who live nowhere near the store, they may lose interest in the store because shipping prices most likely will increase since the company has more responsibility to take care of.
I think that Amazon would be a good store to put into a business because they carry virtually anything. However depending on prices, Amazon would overcome the need for any other stores. You can purchase just about anything from Amazon. Ranging from electronics, to hair products to almost anything.
Amazon would be an awesome store to go to. I would shop there all the time. I think it would be good for online shops to go to a real store depending on their popularity and what size of a place they'd be going to. Little peddler places shouldn't try to move into a huge building but if they started small it would be cool. Again, depending on their popularity it would help or hurt them economically but I would really like the cute little online stores to come to a place where I can actually go.
I think that Amazon would be beneficial as an actual store. It would help out their store. Then again, people who aren't able to get there wouldn't benefit from it. They sell everything so it would help out a lot.
If amazon got there own store they be THE TOP store becsaue they have everything and you can sell things on there website so just think instead of doing that just imagine you being able to go right into the store and get all that done instead of having to wait like almost a week to get something you order you can just go straight into the store and get and it would boost there company A LOT

I think, depending on their size, a lot of online stores could benefit from actual stores. This gives them more chances for advertisement and expansion. Also, it helps people get what they need sooner and without having to pay shipping costs. The businesses could really benefit from that, because they'd have more costumers, especially for those who don't like, or are unable to shop online.
I think if online stores became physical stores it would benifit them a lot, by getting more buisness.
I think Amazon and E-bay should make stores because many people buy from them, and there would be no expected delivery dates. But perhaps there would not be as many items available in a physical than an online store.
I believe it is a good idea for online stores to move into the real world, thus gaining more of a fan base, better prices and more demand will occur, and they will branch out to people who don't use the internet.
Online stores moving out on to the streets could be a really good thing. I think that they would have more people buy their products. Some products are only sold online instead of in stores so thats the only thing that wouldn't be good.

At the end it states that Amazon might join with them in making their own store. I think that would be good. A lot of people actually shop on Amazon and it would help out those that need the things they buy on it quickly. I think it's a good idea that on-line stores are now switching to ground stores because shipping on-line takes awhile to get and with ground stores you get it then and there.

I think its good to see online stores trying to do something different. But i dont agree with the concept if they already have a place to sell there goods all around the world why have a store? I can see having a physical store in case theres ever a time where the internet fails. But that is extremely un-likely. At first and for a while it would hurt there profit. Cause lets be honest its move convenient for me to use my phone and buy something then compared to driving across town to get it.
I think that I amazon made a store it would be very helpful but the store won't have everything that they have online. I dont see someone who lives in another country sending their stuff to some random place. Personally I like an online store called Threadless which would be like SoHo they would have everything they advertised. It would be just like walking into any store. Sure they would have select things online like all stores but most would be at the store.

I'm not sure how Amazon and other online stores can make a brick-and-mortar store. Would they be able to maintain both the website and store or would they have to shut down one or only maintain the other?
I think Amazon should be a physical store. It raise their line a lot, because so many people use amazon and it is so useful to buy things from. But when you buy something online from amazon, it takes a few days to get to your house. I think it would be so much more convenient if I could just go to the store and buy something and get it right then and there instead of having to wait days for something.
I think that ebay would be a great store to have in person. It would be like having a huge thrift store where you could find anything. That and you would actually be able to check the quality of what your buying right there which limits the probablilty of you getting screwed over. That and you'd be able to take it home right then. I think they would make a really decent profit from owning there own physical store.

I think this is a really good idea. More businesses should be doing this. I also think this would allow their profits to go up.
I think it would be great if the thirty one company would make the move to a physical store. Customers could see the product and purchase items without waiting for ordering and shipping. Small boutiques are very popular and thirty one could increase sales.

I see quite a few benefits to online stores with physical locations.
1. If people in an area find a particular style of clothing to be popular and post it to the store's website, more of that product would be on the shelves for people who want it and there will be less unused inventory laying around.
2. You can see the item for yourself. Online models don't have the same figure you do and clothing looks different on them, so being able to try it on before you buy it is awesome.
3. It would be a lot safer. Using your credit card and personal information online is much more dangerous than if you were at a physical location.
I think that if amazon made this move that it would be a good thing! Amazon already is really popular and I feel like they would get a lot of people to go there. I think that it would help their profit because some people don't like to buy online but like what they see on websites.

what made other stores move was ebay because it was the only online store then amazon came up. And yes they are making profit because they made alot of money throughout the year.
Amazon is already a super popular internet store, and if they opened up physical stores, they would not only get business from people buying online but also from people who may not have access to the internet at home. I just think it would be a really smart financial decision on Amazon's part.

I think it would benefit a lot of people of amazon was an actual store. Not just online . It would benefit both people & bring money into the business because a lot of people use it.
I think that if amazon set up physical stores in major cities and kept most of their business online, then they might be able to increasebusiness
the only reason for ordering stuff online is the convience of it if it wasnt online no one would really go to that store. its so you can shop without leaving your house. online sstores pretty much have everything from cloths to weapons to kitchen stuff so that would be pretty hard to put in a store.
