I think that the Kasich Education Plan is Pointless. I mean Middletown's rates aren't the best , but we have been improving each year. Even know Middletown's rates are still the lowest in Butler County ,our rates are the highest in 10 years ! at 82%. i see that as a good accomplishment. And we are still improving , i understand that he wants Butler County to be the best , but to be the best it takes time and hard work , not longer class times and trying to compare us to different schools. I say leave us alone and let us continue to improve every year, before u put your opinion on it . Maybe when our rates drop instead of grow then Kasich Education plan would have a point .

i think that kasich education plan is dumb. making kids have more hours of school will make kids hate school even more. we go to school 7 hours a day and its basically a full time job. if we had more school hours then no one would be able to have a life outside of school.

I don't think this plan is very efficient. The way i view it is that kids spend a majority of their time in school already, like 1/3 of their day, the other 1/3 they're sleeping (or should be). However i just think forcing kids to attend school for longer is just going to push them away from the desire of pursuing a deeper education than what society expects. I think education more so falls in the individuals will to learn.

I think Kasich Education Plan is kind of pointless. I think that because even though Middletown's education rates aren't the best nor the highest, we are still improving each year. I think it is an accomplishment because our percentage is at 82% this year and it's the highest it has been in 10 years. I don't think they should make the school days longer because then i feel like the percentage will drop because more people will skip classes and days. When the percentage starts to go down is when we should consider the Kasich program.

I think that the Kasich Education plan is worthless. We shouldn't go to school longer than 7 hours. I personally think that 7 hours is too much also. If we go to school longer our jobs will be hurt also because we wont get enough hours to help pay for our bills and other things.

I think his plan is a waste of time. Middletown is doing good, we don't need to be in school any longer or any of that garbage. if students are going to succeed, it's because that's what they're wanting to do, not because Kasich gave them more time to be in school, if anything kids will do worse because they'll begin to loath school even more than they already do.

I dont think longer school hours is a good idea , i don't think thats a good plan.. if were getting better then we don't need it but maybe if they drop then it could be considered.

I think that the Kasich Education Plan has a certain amount of points. But weather or not it will come through is the question. I dont know what Middletowns or any other schools rates are but, I bet that they are slowly increasing due to the teachers and students working together. I think that if the schools are improving their rates on their own then there isnt a need for the Kasich Education Plan.

i think its a good thing if are community is low and its not doing good. But if we are great and doing higher we shouldn't need Kasich Education Plan.

Well his plan is not worth it he is tryin to make classes longer, than what they are there long enough now. Also we dont have the best ratings but we are not the worst.

I really care for my education but i also know that others don't really what the teacher is saying. I believe that Kasich Education Plan is a good way to help student better understand what is being taught.

i don think his plan is worth because of the fact people have jobs such as the students and the parents, so making school last longer doesnt help any situation but create stress.

i think Kasich plan is dumb we have been doing good and are rates arnt the best i think that it gonna take time hard work and effort not everyone have good rates just him thinking he change it is pointless he needs to move on.

It's hard to give a straight opinion on this without having some bias. As a student I wouldn't enjoy the extra time in school, but i believe it would show results.

matt woodward6 said...

His plan is dumb middletown might have low rates but we are getting them up

Derrick Tre said...

- The plan is pointless. They said Middletown's rate went up 82%. That's a big improvement. As long as students apply theirselves and actually try, there'd be no need for Kasich's plan. It's all about progression.

I don't think this is a good idea, 7 hours of school if plenty of time. If we go any longer people won't have time for work or anything like that.
