I think we should keep unions in this country. Though unions may seem unnecessary and a waste of time to many, I believe they are necessary to prevent wrongdoing and corruption in the workplace. Unions have worked out in the past and solved problems for many companies. I think this will only continue as long as the workers fight for the right causes.
i agree we need the unions otherise workers are not going to have a vpice and many companies have been saved by it and some times one emplee can make the diference
I believe we should keep the unions going in this country. I work for a company that is ran by a union and I like that I have a voice in the workplace. I like the feeling that I can go to my manager with ideas for our company, and I know I'm protected from any charges or hearings. Unions have been working out up until now, so why eliminate them?
I agree that we need to keep unions. Without them a great amount of people wouldn't make as much as they do and wouldn't have the things that they do. I feel unemployment will increase even more then it is now. Also i feel you should have a say in basically everything you do, so not having a say at work would suck. And i feel thats wrong.
Well,obviously we need to keep unions. I mean come on, do people honestly think that we'll be better off without them? They give you better benefits better pay and stop corruption or favoritism in the workplace. Unions are not a waste of time or money to anyone, without unions people will be getting paid differently in the same workspace when they do the same jobs.
I think we should keep unions because people have worked hard to get to where they are now. and cutting back would make them feel like they haven't succeeded. Unemployment would increase and would make everything worse in my opinion.
I believe we should keep the unions. It's only sensible? Why would we take away peoples hard earned time and money spent on College, to just downgrade and defile their achievements? That's going against American standards in my opinion. People are just too money hungry, and selfish and would do anything to make an extra buck.
i think we should keep unions because why take away from people that deserve what they have. unemployment would only make matters worse, and i think it will increase more than now. thats bad, but what can you do...
I think that unions should be kept in America. Taking cut backs and taking money would be like robbing Americans of everything they have worked for their entire lives. They also help the employees of big corporations have a say and an opinion on the work their doing. If someone has a good idea and they can't go to their manager or boss about it, then a good idea has been wasted.
i think that we should keep the union. america need things just like america and people all around need jobs..being unemployed would suck and it would be hard for us
I think it is important to keeep unions to maintain a balance for those people who may need assistance from day to day
then again it might be god to protect us if the police its doing there jobs. people might learn to change if unions around for there wrong doing
Yes i think it is very important to keep the unions.Beacuse if we didnt hard workers tht have very high senority like mrs.rowland they would have ther pay cut so it would be like her makeing as much as a worker tht hasnt been ther tht long an thats not fair.
First off unions are extremely important to the US. America was found upon freedom and rights, and when American workers are being fired just for stating their concerns then the system becomes Un-American. Unions are one of the only types of work that help guarantee rights among workers and their employers. For someone to want to get rid of these unions to me is just crazy.
I think unions are important to our country. If we get rid of unions more people would be out of work.I also think we should not get rid of unions because all the people that have worked hard to get to where they need to be in life would just have wasted time because the would no have anything to maintain their rights.But I think people can make a difference if they fight for whats right.
I think that we should have unions. People need to work together for the better of our country. Without unions I don't think that people would be able to accomplish some of the things that have been accomplished working by themselves.
I think we still need the unions. The unions are a nice middle man between the company and the employees. If we get rid of the middle man I think a lot of companies will try to take advantage of the employees. The unions have the best interest for both the company and the employees so that everyone is safe and treated fairly.

i think we do need to keep unions. if they're taken away then people will end up making less then they do now. and people work hard for the things they have now. it would be wrong to take that away from the people who deserve it.
I think we should keep the unions. I think this because, If they take the unions away, companies might try to take advantage of the employes & I don't think they will like it to much.They just need to think, if we don't have unions, there will be no jobs, witch means, places will not be making money.
I believe we should keep unions in this country. Unions might not seem needed but they are a necessary evil. Unions have been there for companies to fall back on in the past. And I think this pattern will continue.
i do feel that unions are important but people use unions as crutches to much if you want something to change then change it dont make your entire work place help you if they dont want like the AK strike a lot of people wanted to go back to work because they needed money but their unions would not let them so yes they are important and no we dont need them im stuck in the middle
i think we need keep the union cause people work hard for what they have. its also wrong the fact that what if thats you how u feel if they cut u of your job.
I am for unions. I think we should keep around for now and the future. Unions are very helpful. For instance , teachers are part of an union and they have a say in what they think we should learn and techniques they want us to learn them in. If the government was to get rid of unions the teachers would have no say in the children's that they are teaching future. They teach because they love it, and it makes it even better that they would have a say in what goes on in their school. With it that say their job wouldn't be the same. They would suddenly loose interest. I feel that unions should be around FOREVER.
I agree that we need unions, because we aren't going anywhere but down. We need to get the market straight so we can market better and decrease unemployment.

without unions people will quit their jobs and unemployment will sky rocket and we will plummit into another recession. we need unions to protect the rights of people. we deserve the same rights as anyone else.
Without unions people will definitely quit their jobs and as far as unemployment, everybody will be unemployed and we will go into a second great depression. We need unions to protect the rights of people and we also deserve our rights to follow the U.S. Constitution.
I think that we should have unions.
Unions give people such as teachers, cops, and fire fighters, people who are of the most importance, a voice that they otherwise wouldnt have.
They protect these people from wrong doings.
As far as teachers go, my aunt is one.
I know that being in the union give her a sense of security.
I think that unions are most important in teacher, they have a right to say what goes one.
An outsider would have no idea what would be best for kids, what the best methods are, what the best environment is.
The teachers know, and the unions give them the ability to express that.
I really don't know what to say since i'm not apart of a union.I feel there is a need for them in certain areas of business.But i don't think unions are needed for everything.I just think it depends on the people who are involved..there might be A lot of people quit there job.Well just have to wait for the future
I think we should keep unions because eachers are in unions and most factories use unions and they keep them from quiting and if their bosses lay them off the have something to fall back on
i think we should keep unions because it helps the workers keep a job and prevent them from getting cheated.if unions stop there will be many people that quit and will not have jobs.
I think we do still need unions because it gives workers the chance to argue for whether or not they need more money and it lets them voice there opinion safely about an issue they might be having at there job
