I hope that one day the Super Bowl will cost a lot less. I hear that commercials usually cost six billion dollars! That is too much money to spend for a stupid football game. I think that the players should get paid a lot less also. Another thing, why would they ask local TV networks to pay so much just to show a football game? it is nothing more than greed if you ask me! People need to get off their butts and work. People should also expect in a recession that they will not make as much money as normal. What is this world coming to? Technology has really made this world a bad place.

I feel that they spend to much money for the Super Bowl. Sure football is an interesting sport but its not worth that much money. Why waste all that money on commercials that get aired during the Super Bowl when in reality half of them suck. And don't even get me started on the halftime. Never in your life ever get the Black Eye Pea's to perform at halftime again. It was horrible. One thing that i agree with them spending money on is the food. I love food and I will never be against someone spending thousands of dollars on food. But I just feel like they spend a little to much just to see guys running around and tackling each other and running around for a ball.

I that its good so many people come out and spend so much at the Super Bowl. A lot of people look forward to the Super Bowl every year. My only problem with the super bowl is the commercials and halftime performances. I feel like the halftime show should have a better variety of performers, And the commercials should also have a better variety. But overall i enjoyed the Super Bowl and if I had to grade this years Super Bowl I'd give it a B-.

I am not a big footbal fan but I do feel that the SuperBowl has always been a big thing. It has progressed a lot over the past couple years because of how much money is being spent and how much is being recieved.Money has made the SuperBowl biger and better. I am also shocked by how much money the players make and how much it cost to air those silly commercials. The SuperBowl is well overdone and they should spend less money on it and ticket cost should be less because household people with regular jobs are taking a lot from their household to see a football game.

i think that the money spent 4 super bowl is spent to pay the players in the game an to also pay for the stadium tht its played for.an they use the money to make ther place look better.aND FOR THE PRICE TO AIR A super bowl commercial is just crazy because they could use that money for something allot better.but people llove the sport and they love the commercials.

I think that its peoples money let them spend it on what they want if they want to go to a football game and see the last 2 teams battle it out then go ahead and do it its peoples money and they are just spending all this money on the games to make people want to go to the game and watch it either in person or on tv people like there sports and its not going to change except get bigger and better every year for all the football fans

yeah too much is spent on the superbowl but its the most important sports event that i can think of. for our entertainment it's worth it all most every one in the U.S. watches the game. i think it's worth it.

Well I don't think that the commercials are overpriced because in the long run they will be making more profit in the end. But with the extra things that are surrounding the stadium and everything in the stadium is just not needed...I mean people who are there are there to see a football game not sitting there trying to calculate how much money was spent on the moniters and speakers...But still I guess its worth it in the long run because its still such an amazing show...

i think they are spending to much money on the superbowl. if people want spend that much money thats their money. so if people think its something important to watch once a year then so be it.

I love football, and I look forward to the superbowl every year. I do think its ridiculous the amount of money people spend on it. The tickets are too expensive and its dumb how much money they spend on the dumb commercials.

The money that football grosses out is ridiculous. The unemployment rate is increasing and they want to spend billions of dollars on commercials for a game. I know that football is the most popular sport in the U.S. and will always be making a ton of money, but during a recession, people should be spending their money more wisely.

Personally I don't watch the Super Bowl. So I think it's rediculous in the first place. So it doesn't really surprise me that some of the economic statistics are blown out of perportion. If every year, the surrounding hotels near where the Super Bowl is held make $202 million at least, it's crazy. I'd hate to see food, gift shops or airline tickets statistics. I think a sporting event shouldn't cost as much as they do but sports will be popular until the end of time so it's no surprise.

I think they spend way too much money on the superbowl, also with the commercials. I personally only watch the superbowl for the halftime and the commercials so i think they should do more with those.

It is a good thing that all this money is being spent on the Super Bowl because that adds more money into the circular flow which then helps our economy out of this recession.

I watch the Super bowl every year and i enjoy it even if my team isn't in it. If i had the money to buy a ticket to the game and to fly out to the game i would because this year my team was in the Super Bowl. I don"t like how they spend that much money on the commercials, personally i don't like the commercials they get worse every year and i think its a waste of money.

i am kinda hoping that one day, the super bowl will cost less.
i feel like if we are such in "debt" than why do we have to pave a football company just for a little intertainment than we shouldn't have football anymore, but thats just my opinion i guess. i think that the super bowl should cost less & not be soooo expensive.

what people do with thier money is there biusness but everyone will have an opinion about how it should be spent all i want to know is how is american in such a debt and we have enough money to do this

HaLARRYious7 said...

i think its outrageous how american is always complaining about being in debt and we still have the "money" to pay millions of dollars on entertainment. i do not care how we spend the money but its just sad that we spend this much for 5 hours of entertainment. it just upsets me.

AkersAkers7 said...

Personally I love watching the Super Bowl. I could care less for the million dollar commercials. America is in debt, but we can still pay for 20-40 second commercials advertising a product? Even though them people will make money in the long run, I think it's dumb.

I think that the amount of money spent on one game is completely ridiculous.
We honestly dont have the money to be spending that much on a football game. There are many better was to spend so much money. I really dont like football, but even if this was a concert, i think that that amount of money would be stupid to spend on that as well.
I just think that in a time where we have citizens homeless, starving, trying to raise families while in poverty, and people losing their jobs and houses that there are better ways to spend the billions spent on the super bowl and their advertising.
Its one day and one sport. It should be about the talent of the players (who are over paid as well), the excitement of the game, not the hype, the adds, and all the other things that aren't necessary.
