The resurgence of interest in vinyl albums and turntables is very interesting to me because I would never think of anyone wanting to buy albums or turntables anymore because technology has advanced so much. I also wonder how good the sound quality is because people are just starting to have this sudden interest in these things again.I think people are buying these so they can think of new ways to improve them.
I believe that vinyl albums are good to have as classic collectibles, but not that good to start selling again. Noone is going to buy them because of free music downloads over the internet.
Vinyl could happen again i guess but it wouldn't be a good sell...I mean people like music nowadays because of its mobility...all the portable devices now that you can carry in your pocket that holds thousands of songs when vinyls can't be carried around...well i guess it could but that would get annoying really quick ya know? so anyway, I don't think this would be a good idea...The only reason it would be a good thing would be to hear the classics the way they were meant to be heard...
They shouldnt sell vinyl albums again because we have i pods, phones, cd's still and computers now with better sound and its just better but some people may wanna buy them for like show or collect them.
I don't think they should sell vinyl albums again because everyone nowadays is so into technology and having stuff like ipods, mp3 players, and such. I don't think they would sell good, unless someone collected them.
i can say that i have six vinyl records the beetles, the beach boys, two prince records, and two that i dont remember at this moment. i think people are getting tired of ipods so they are looking for new things to get into. and vinyl is a classic =)
i think that they shouldnt even try t0 bring back vinal things beacuse no one will buy them beides like a few very old people and when they buy them they ebd up dyeing of old age an they are jus going to through um away no one even likes um..
I think that it is strange that people would be interested in vinyl albums again when technology has evolved so far. we have Mp3 player and the internet so we can buy music at home without going from store to store looking for our favorite artist. I think people should leave vinyl albums in the past and stick with the easier form of music that we already have.
I don't think that bringing back vinyl albums would be a good idea, considering we have computers, and iPods etc. I don't even think they would make much money off that. Personally I think vinyl records and turntables are cool, but not enough to buy vinyl albums/records.
I understand why CD sales are decreasing. CD's are just an unnecessary hassle nowadays when the internet is so readily available. But I feel like going back to vinyl albums is just going to turn out to be a fad. While vinyl albums are more authentic, they are more expensive and require more attention.
i think it would be interesting if vinyl come back it grow up wl old school people. i lovee old school music i think its better then todays music if yu ask me. but it would be hard to carry them but you never know what people would do .
To be honest i love the fact of vinyl records being sold again! Not only does it bring back history but it also gives the buyer a sort of gratification of actually owning that band's record. See today's music downloading technology is remarkable but at the same time it has lost the pride of ownership and support. For example, i do download songs off the internet but every now and then when an artist drops a new album I only feel right if i actually go and buy the cd. BRING BACK THE VINYL!
It would be quite interesting if vinyl came back. But to be honest we all know its not gonna happen. Vinyl will not come back because of the new technology we are creating today Now we have ipods, mp3 players, cd's, etc. Can you play a vinyl on your ipod NO. People would abuse them more than use them. It would be nice to bring them back but i doubt that it would happen and i doubt that it would have an effect on our new technology we are creating today.
Itunes is taking over in replace of albums. Why make more albums when you simply can go on the computer and just buy them on Itunes. This is like DVDs and netflix.
I believe tat we should do away with vinyl. Our society has moved on to ore advanced forms of music distribution and the ways we listen to music. Buying music online and listening to it on an ipod is much easier than the older ways. Besides its the new milleium. Time to modernize
I personally love vinyl. I grew up listening to classic rock. I didn't need a stupid video game to teach me the classics and the roots of the newer music I listen to now. I think that vinyl needs to come back. It is an amazing music medium. I personally have never owned a MP3 player or an iPod, everything I own is either CD's, cassettes, or vinyl. Although i would LOVE to have an Ipod i would would still always have my others and still go out and by the others. I think that technology is taking over EVERYTHING and music just might be the one industry that can let the classics survive.
i think its a good idea to bring back vinyl records . but then again technolgy is so advanced already . but no one really buys cd's anymore either . everyone either has an ipod or mp3 & download music illegally. so vinyl could be a good idea to bring back .
the uprise of vinyl records in the new day is something like a throwback jersey. it'll be a fad for a short while. ipods and other advanced technology are still rising if not as fast but faster. if the can find a way to make the records as high tech as other items it'll be fine.
