This is making their economy weak. By not having the supplies to feed people, things are getting hectic. Since there is very little trade going on in Egypt is growing weak. By not being able to trade with other countries there is no income coming in or going out. People are running out of food and water, and things are only going to get worse.

I believe that things will only get worse for Egypt. Since their economy is failing and their government is unable to help in any way, the people will continue to go hungry and soon even starve. Riots and fighting may break out since hunger makes people crazy. People will go to extreme lengths to get food and supplies. Hopefully some other nation will show support and will be willing to trade with them or just lend them a hand.

The uprising in Egypt is impacting their economy and the people by not having basic supplies. Food and water are needed. Without these, their economy is weakened and things can only get worse. If something is not done, things will only go downhill more.

It's sad that they are going without food. They need to move or something so that way the family doesn't die from thirst or hunger. Knowing the United States we probably will help them like me did with haiti. So hopefully they will be fortunate enough to move to another country and stay alive.

In order to solve this issue, the government needs to change the curfew. There aren't going to be any stores to shop at if theres no time for them to be open, hence causing scarcity. Obviously something is wrong with the government system if an entire country is suffering this bad.

i think is sucks that this is happening in egypt but im really tired of our government sending money to countries that need help when we dont even have enough money to help our own, so if we end up sending them money then i will be pretty mad.
I think that their goverment should make improvement and do what they can to improve.
Their economy is going to be completely gone soon if there is nothing to buy and sell.
The people will begin to revolt soon and many hopefully will be able to move to a better area and wont suffer.

I think that this uprising is really hurting egypt. Most people cant feed there families ang food supply there is very low.The curfew is not helping this situation at all.So untill changes come things will not be any better.

i think that they do need a new president. a lot of people don't have food or they are running out. so unless the president changes something soon, they need someone else to be in charge.

I think this is a huge crisis. Their government is doing nothing to help and to make things worse they made a curfew from 3p.m. to 8a.m. thats crazy and a great amount of time. None of their stores even have time to be open. I don't think its that important to starve just to get rid of the president. Hopefully the people can either fix the problem or move somewhere else where the government is stable and there is enough food. But i hope our country doesn't feel the need to help because we have a huge problem of our own right now, we can't afford to pay for other countries too.

I think if the people in Egypt need too figure out what they are going too do really fast before time runs out & they are left with nothing too their names..
If this world has nothing too buy or sell, our economy is going to be gone for good unless they work more things out like i said before it is gone..
And i don't think our government should give out money anymore because we are already in mass debt. And i don't think the people should have too suffer for what the government has done.

the scarcity of food in egypt is a problem . so is the curfew . its just making the people of egypt angry . these people are going hungry because they want to over throw their government . this uproar in egypt is going to effect many other companies other than just the middle east . our gas prices are going to go up because of this . nothings going to get better unless , egyptian government makes some changes .

Egypt is going through an economic downfall. It has to do mainly with their government and how they're spending their money. It doesn't help that they're basically putting their country in a stand still economically. Egypt definitely needs a shoulder to lean on, but I don't think the US is in an economical place to do so.

The Egyptians are running out of food fast and there leader is making it worse for them. Its really sad that the shortage of food is so sudden and fast. The government is to blame because this obviously shows that they dont know how to handle there money. I feel bad for egypt, but then again i cant do anything for them so, it sucks to think like that. Egypt needs a better leader and a more advanced plan to make sure they have what they all need.

I think Egypt needs to get a new president or new government fast because they need help and their government isn't giving it to them. People are going hungry and are not getting any supplies for trade. They need trade to make money, and if their not making money everyone is going to starve and eventually die out. Things are just going to get worse

the uprising in egypt is causing their economy to go in the gutter. thanks to the government they have strict rules and curfues..? im sorry thats just wrong in my opinion how can you deny your people food and the right to do what they want with their own time.

KCreech7 said...

this situation is just like iraqs porblem they are wanting to overthrow their government and its gonna take alot of work and cause many issues. i think that countries like that should give their citizens more say in what goes on and not control their lives as much.

JBurley7 said...

Water and food are basic necessities. No wonder the citizens of Egypt are rioting and causing chaos in the streets. If the government spent their money more wisely, maybe they wouldn't be in this economic crisis. The downfall of Egypt's economy will only bring the people down with them.

I really like this article, but I really hate to see anybody die just because Egypt's President is not a good President. I think that Hosni Mubarak should listen to Egypt's citizens and let someone else be leader. Many families in Egypt are fast running out of staples such as bread, beans and rice and are often unable or unwilling to shop for groceries. "Everything is running out. I have three children, and I only have enough to feed them for maybe two more days. After that I do not know what we will do." I hate to see people go hungry. So why don't we all step up and stop world hunger... for the children!!!!!!

i think that it is crazy what is going on in egypt right now, the goverment there shouldn try to give the people there a curfew, now that the people there see what there goverment doing they are now starting riots and egyptis going crazy, since all this is happening they are have food shortages and familys cant eat. i think they should try to compromise or get a new president.

You cant be concidered a coutry if you dont have enough supplies to keep the poplulation nurished.

The food scarcity is do to a controlling government with no real primary cash crop. Egypt has no major exports leaving them as a poor country, but because they are semi- industrialized it leads to a difficulty in growing food. Egypt needs a major export in trade so that they may have a government that can support to feed their country.

egipt is in crisis people are daying and starving what they need is a better leader and be united stop figthing each other and try to make new relations whit other countryes to better and for the better of their people.

The uprising in Egypt has caused there to be a shortage of basic needs for the people to live. I understand why the people of Egypt are protesting but how far will it all go? I think that their government should make some of compromise with the people and solve this conflict

DeanteTyreil said...

The chaos in Egypt will subside as son as the government officials and politicians need to figure out a plan to feed the people in the country. And people are going on an outbreak and acting out in violence until a solution is produced

i think the government has caused its self to have a shortage in food.they should never of tried to shut the internet off.also if the government was really worried about the food shortages than they would as there family nebijhor for food.

Obviously their gonvernment is not doing it's job.I mean what kind of Gov. would let their peopl go without supplies and food....Smh U.S.A needs to step in even if we are alliances with thier dictaor

The government doesn't know what to do to help all the people. They are running low on food and hunger increases the fuel in people to be angry with one another. It makes everyone edgy. Everybody is getting upset with the government, but the supplies are low and they can't get food and supplies into all of the places that need them. It's not like it's all sitting in their backyard or something. Jeez...trying being in their position...Would you know what to do?

If people like school administrators are going out of food, then I'd hate to see how the average citizen is doing. Egypt is among the first of many countries who're possibly going to be in a crisis in these coming years. I fear that many governments in the near future will start to fall and we'll be seeing many more things happen a lot like Egypt.

The economy in Egypt is currently a failure. Since they don't have enough food supplies the people are getting mad and going crazy. Egypt is at a downfall.

Shout out to Miahajj for bringing me a camel in time of need.

The government needs to step up. People need food and water. They cant trade and they're running low on supplies which is making people struggle extremely bad.

This is just terrible with Egypt because they are fighting cause the oil and they cant trade now.I don't know whats going on but it needs to get fixed and hopefully it doesn't effect americans but needs to stop.

Charliehaddix6 said...

the government in egypt needs to find out whats going on. people are dying and will continue to die if they don't their population will drop and people will start to leave. the conditions there are so terrible. they need to get the president out of the office if he isn't doing anything to help with the situation.

I think its sad and selfish that the people in Egypt are continuing to have childern when they cant support the ones they have.Even after knowing that there is limited food supply. Its also sad that they cant control a country. Its goin to get very dangerous for the citizens because when people start starving they will go to anything to get some food.

Dakin said...

i think that if they are running out of food such as bread rice and beans, then people should just start growing more of it. blame their dictator for such poor living conditions

donnie r6 said...

i think this is rediculous we cant feed two or three countries we will end up running out of supplies

I think Egypt needs a new system of government or a new leader because this can put a lot of families in danger.I also think they should not have a curfew because they should be free to do what ever they want.I also do not understand why they can't make some arrangement so they can get food.We need to step in to help them out.
